Ilka Balk has invited Kentucky Career Development Association (KCDA) members to tour the James B. Beam Institute for Kentucky Spirits, a part of the Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food, and Environment at the University of Kentucky. During and after the tour, Ilka and others will help us learn more about the internship and employment opportunities avaliable in the spirits and distillery industry. We will joined by:

• Joe Bongiovia, Chief Human Resources Officer, Sazerac (recently retired)
• Nikki Clifton, Human Resources Manager for Supply Chain Management, Jim Beam Distillery

Refreshments & light snacks will be provided. 

Important – KCDA Members who register to participate will be contacted to coordinate parking and carpooling given the limited parking available at the location. Participants should wear closed toe shoes and be prepared to climb stairs and walk on grated cat walks. Ilka recommends wearing shirts or jackets with sleeves.
